Can you stamp on both sides of a disc? Can you engrave on both sides of a disc?
Unfortunately, due to the stamping process I'm only able to STAMP one side of a disc. Hammered letters leave a faint imprint on the reverse, so I'm not able to add wording on the backs of discs. I can put (2) discs back to back if you'd like wording on two sides (additional fees for extra discs).
Yes, I am able to ENGRAVE on both sides of a disc. One important fact to be aware of is that only the fronts of my discs are high polished and the reverse may have a duller finish. If you are interested in adding engraved wording to the backside of a disc, please contact me before purchase as additional fees may apply.
How do I care for my jewelry after receipt?
All metal (besides stainless steel) naturally tarnishes, which is caused by many factors including climate, body pH, chemicals, water minerals, lotion, etc., that might cause your piece to tarnish.
• Remove any jewelry before showering, swimming, sweating, or any activity that is water related.
• Keep your jewelry away from lotions, creams, soaps, makeup, cleaning supplies, perfume, etc. which may react with your jewelry.
• Remove your jewelry before going to bed to avoid breakage/damage/accidents.
• Store jewelry in a separate container in a cool, dry place when not wearing.
• Avoid contact with acidic chemicals such as vinegar, rubbing alcohol, citrus, etc.
• Use a jewelry polishing cloth to keep the item shiny and remove any tarnish.
Where do I leave personalization details?
You can leave that important info in the listing's personalization box or in the note to seller box at checkout. I'll be sure to carefully read your notes and contact you with any questions.
When will my order ship?
My production time is 1-5 business days + USPS shipping time for delivery. A RUSH upgrade (your order moves to the very front of my production line and is next to be made) is available upon request (contact me before checkout if you'd like to add this service to your order). Business days are Monday thru Friday and do not include US holidays.
My urn has fallen off and I need to order a new one - can this be done?
No problem - I sell replacement urns if you only need that part of your item. Be sure that you are adding a small drop of adhesive glue to the threads of the screw after filling the urn and before closing it. This will keep the top and bottom securely fastened together. If this process is not followed, I am not responsible for your urn detaching and becoming lost. If you need to order a replacement urn, send me a message using Etsy's email system and we can go from there.
Can I re-darken my engraved and stamped jewelry?
Absolutely! The colored in portion of the lettering can fade depending on climate, usage, water exposure, soaps, etc. Simply use a black permanent marker to go over the area and then immediately buff off the extra using a jewelry polishing cloth. I use Sharpie brand markers and yellow Sunshine brand jewelry cloths and can recommend those. This process can be done as many times as needed to re-new your jewelry.
I've over-tightened my urn and the top has broken off - can I order a replacement urn?
Yes, I offer replacement urns due to many factors such as over-tightening, loss, etc. Send me a message within Etsy's email system and I can help you to get that order placed with a reserved listing.
The components on my item are showing wear from touching - what can I do?
Unfortunately, I am not able to keep the mobile components of a design stationary. This is considered normal wear and tear and not considered a faulty product. Just as if you wear two bracelets next to each other, they will touch and wear may be noticed.
Help! I've ordered an item that is too small / too large. What can be done?
Send me an email using Etsy's messaging system describing the issue. Every situation is different as well as the solution for each. If an item or part of an item needs to be re-made due to an incorrect size being ordered by the customer, additional fees may apply. If I have incorrectly fulfilled an order, it will be rectified with no expense to the customer.
I entered a wrong ship-to address or need to revise the address entered at checkout. Can you do that for me?
Unfortunately, I'm not able to revise or change the shipping address confirmed and entered at checkout. Doing so would void the buyer's purchase protection as well as the seller's protection. I also don't have access to your account to change the settings. The easiest way to fix this issue is for the buyer to repurchase the item(s), entering the correct ship-to address at checkout. You can also either revise the address within your account or click the "ship to an alternate address" during the checkout process. The buyer's first purchase would be fully refunded, but be sure to leave me a note in the note to seller box during the second checkout to please refund/cancel the first purchase.
