Announcement   Happy New Year! Change has come to Susan Smith Clay by way of a new name and greater focus on creating a stronger studio. SSC will change its name to Addled Hill Pottery, after my family's farm, where I draw my inspiration. As I transition from one to the other, I will maintain both shops. The style will remain the same, the designs will grow.

I would love for you to join me on this journey-

hi. this is my retail pot shop and I am glad you are here. I do my best to insure that the pots you see are the best quality pieces. everything is handmade by me, Susan. each piece varies slightly in size/shape due to the nature of the craft.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Money Order
Payment
I accept PayPal for purchases. PayPal is the safer way to pay for things on the internet. You use your credit card but PayPal keeps the number secure by not exposing the card number to the merchant. I was once intimidated by the process, but let me assure you, its EASY and SAFE. If you have any concerns, let me know and we can walk through it together.
Shipping
Shipping pottery is an art form itself. I pack the pottery myself with bubble wrap, peanuts, etc... in a very strong box. The weight and size of the box, the destination and current fuel costs determine the actual shipping cost. Add the cost of packing supplies and the labor--- and you can see that it is not an inexpensive process. just thought you would like to know...
Refunds and Exchanges
I do take the time to pack carefully, but if there is breakage when the pottery arrives, please let me know immediately. I will gladly work out a mutually agreeable arrangement with you.
