The more I learn...the more I want to know.

It's all my Mom's fault. She started the whole thing by teaching me to sew when I was 3. Embroidery & needlepoint was at age 6. Knitting & crocheting age 8. Designing my own clothes age 10. By the time I was 18 I could look at a picture or painting and reproduce it. She was seamstress to Elizabeth Taylor & Betty Drake (Cary Grant's wife) and many stars.
At age 16 I joined the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA). Which launched me into a whole new world of clothing construction and new forms fiber arts. I landed a position working as a costumer for PBS "William the Conqueror" at age 19.
Hundreds and hundreds of costumes from the year 100 to futuristic have been sewn, miles of handmade lace and embroidery have embellish clothing to household items, hundreds of quilts have been made to keep somebody warm under and 1 of a kind of fashions for "private parties" have been completed.
You wouldn't want me to get bored now would you?

If it has to do with fiber...that's my bag. I can take the fleece from the sheep, spin it, weave it and make it into anything. Also embellish it an all manner of ways...handmade lace, embroidery and all kinds of needlework.
