LOVE this. :) Thanks for shipping it so quickly and for the nice packaging. Your work is beautiful and has a great attention to detail. I also love that it's made from repurposed sweaters. I'm also loving my I-phone carrier and getting lots of compliments on it. Will shop again soon!

About

Felted art to wear, use, and love.

Ever since I was in junior high, I've gotten an itch to make things during the Christmas holidays. I now call it "seasonal craft disorder". But I put it to use.

Once, I knitted a wool tea cozy to felt. It took so much time, calculating shrinkage, choosing and executing the raspberry stitch, etc. When I felted it, the stitch all but disappeared. Very frustrating.

I decided to buy old wool knit, felt it, then use as fabric. I made my first cozy this way and gave to a fellow tea-lover. Other people asked for them, so I joined Etsy in 2008.

My items are not cheap, compared to items from factories overseas. But the price reflects time and labor put into each piece. And my items are truly handmade—by me.

My inventory relies on what I'm able to find at estate sales and thrift stores. So what you buy here will be unique and not available anywhere else.

I suffer from Seasonal Craft Disorder." Between October and February I have an uncontrollable urge to make stuff. I prefer making art you can use.

I enjoy making art I can use. I love tea, too. I hunt for old wool sweaters, felt them for use like fabric. It takes time, but I enjoy the process.
