Years ago, my daughter gave me a precious gift for Mothers Day.
She gathered all the cards I had saved which she had given me over the years, and lovingly placed them in a scrapbook.
From the sweet handmade cards she gave me as a child to the carefully selected cards she chose as a young woman, all these cards brought back so many memories.
Each one told the story of the close relationship we have been fortunate enough to share.
Cards do that…

I began creating my own designs a few years ago and with the encouragement of my husband and daughter.

My little home studio, courtesy of my husband, includes shelves and racks that hold all my beautiful patterned papers and card stock.
Baskets filled with stamps ~ paper punches and beautiful colored stamp pads.
Spools of ribbon in every color imaginable.
Big glass jars filled with beads ~ gemstones and flowers.
In short, it's my space ~ my little piece of heaven ~ a place I have been known to lose all track of time.

Suzies Cards is a a one-woman show ~ I'm the designer ~ photographer ~ customer service person that will respond to your emails.
My husband who is now retired, has taken over the packaging and shipping aspect of the business and has now developed a close relationship with the ladies who work at our local post office!

I have a passion ~ some may say an obsession with all things paper and actually get very excited upon entering a paper store.
