Studying art in college was a highlight of my time at College of the Atlantic, but life took me in the direction of working in womens health care after college and I mostly drew and made things on the side for fun.
In 2006 I began drawing and collaging a lot more again, mostly stemming from enjoying doing art projects with my kids. I found myself doodling a lot while listening to conference calls or in long meetings at work because it helped me concentrate. My job at the time was pretty demanding, and my kids often needed babysitters after school and daycare, which didn't feel ideal.
After some urging from my friends, I quit my job in early 2007 and opened an Etsy shop. I was so happy to be making art again and getting to spend more time with my kids. I've been selling on Etsy ever since. I also regularly exhibit original work in galleries, have an increasing number of wholesale accounts, do a few craft fairs a year, and regularly do art licensing and freelance editorial work. I've had the good fortune of being able to work with a lots of great companies and publishers over the past few years.
In 2016 I opened a small bricks and mortar shop in Northeast Harbor, Maine - we carry some of my own work and lots of small press stationery companies, jewelers, ceramicists, makers and more. Come visit us if you're in this neck of the woods at 104 Main Street, Northeast Harbor, ME 04662.

Longer shipping times happen very occasionally for travel or other reasons, and are carefully noted in the 'notes to buyer' email you'll receive upon purchase. if you are concerned about a shipping time, please send me an email to check in.
I ship small prints flat in an archival cello sleeve with cardboard backing inside a stiff cardboard mailer, and larger prints are shipped in a tube. Prints are mailed 1st class unless you contact me to make other arrangements.
