Sway Tree Soaps - Nature in a Bar

My shop started out of a quickly growing addiction for making soap! It's a small home based business with room to grow. I am always on the look out for more recipes and ideas and I hope to share them with you!

I try to create soaps with all natural ingredients, out of need for a bar of soap that I am not allergic to. I have many allergies and homemade soap seemed to be a good way to address those allergies. I may experiment in the future with oxide colors, but they will be limited to one or two bars in my collection.

In my oatmeal soaps, I use Gluten Free oats, and I do not use any almond oil in any of my products.

If you have an allergy, you understand how hard it is to find something to suit you. This is why I started my soaping journey. I was tired of having to watch what I use or pay for it with itchy skin or rashes etc.

From a very young age, crafting has been my passion. I started knitting and crocheting at about age 6. From there I learned to spin my own yarn, make jewelry and make soap. I love to create, and keep myself busy, and share my creations with you!

How to Care for your Homemade Soap

Homemade soaps need the air to stay firm and keep their shape. Do not store your beautiful soap in plastic bags or containers. It is best not to let your soap sit in a dish that collects water. Like all soaps, your homemade soap will last longer if it is allowed to dry between uses.
