Sweet & Mellow – Creating little works of art

Hi there! I am Esther Lagarde, a creative girl of 31 years old, Dutch and owner of Sweet & Mellow. I started my business in 2014. I just graduated as an architect, but unfortunately there were almost no jobs available, so I sat at home, unemployed. Besides applying for a job, I soon began creating small items, ranging from bags and pouches to coasters and cards. Since I could not use them all myself, I started selling them online in my webshop and offline on markets: my own business was born!

I had never planned to become a business owner, but I have loved it so far! I have had a few temporary jobs in the meantime but my passion and my heart have always been in designing and developing my own creations and I will continue to do so.

My designs are unique, creative and divers. Every product is meant as a little artwork. Besides its functional use, my items also have to be gorgeous additions to your home. Products that you will love to use and look at, over and over again!
