    The Sweet Georgia Sweet Story

    What began simply as a way to be able to focus & hone my creative energies, also became a way for me to pursue my biggest dream....... being a stay at home Mommy.

    Through a series of wonderful events, my husband & I were able to travel to Africa to adopt our oldest son....... and now, through the beauty of adoption again, we have added another little boy to the mix. They are the light of our lives! And SGS allows me the freedom to be home full time with them while also having the freedom to create, interact, & be inspired by so many others.

    My specialty is custom work. While I love the challenge of a custom piece, my favorite part is getting to know my customers. I love being a small part of some of life's most treasured events. It truly is the sweetest of things for me!

    Everything I create is made {sweetly} & with lots of love by my own two, little hands. My son is always in & out of my studio inspecting my work, & sometimes he even asks to help Mommy get the boxes all taped up for shipping.

    I am constantly creating new products or updated versions of older products. It is such a joy for me! I truly love what I do!

    Thank you so much for visiting Sweet Georgia Sweet! I am a work-at-home-mom, former ballerina, nail polish addict, and a monogram lover.

    Each item in my shop is hand crafted to order. One of our specialties is creating custom orders to match your home, party, or celebration.

    Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our items, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.
    Payment
    Payment via Paypal or Direct Checkout must be made at the time of purchase. Order cancellations may be requested within 48 hours of the purchase for a full refund, assuming the item has yet to be crafted or shipped. Order cancellations requested after the 48 hours but before shipping will be subject to a refund minus a 20% service fee. Order cancellations are not available on orders which have already been hand crafted to order and/or orders which have already shipped.
    Shipping
    We ship all orders via the shipping method you choose at checkout.

    USPS Express mail is a guaranteed 1-2 delivery by the USPS. If the item is not delivered when guaranteed, the USPS will refund shipping monies paid.

    USPS Priority mail is a non guaranteed 2-4 day delivery by the USPS. While this is a non guaranteed delivery, in well over 2,000 shipments, we've found this service to be reliable & true to delivery estimate 99% of the time.

    First Class Package Service typically takes 3-7 business days but can take even longer. We do not recommend First Class Mail when event dates or deadlines are at hand.

    Once an order leaves our hands into the care of the USPS, we have no control over it and cannot be responsible for what happens. To this end, we recommend all our clients purchase insurance for their order (automatically included with Priority & Express mail - insurance covers up to $100 & applies to the item being shipped. It does not apply to postage paid.) If you want to add insurance & have chosen First Class Mail, please let me know. I can quote that for you. It is usually just $1-2 extra.

    If your package is lost without insurance, we will be happy to provide a replacement product for you at 10% off the listing price.

    Made to order items will ship within our current posted production time frame.

    If you have a SPECIFIC DEADLINE to receive your order (a birthday, wedding, party, event, etc), please let me know so that we can work together to try and accommodate your event. A RUSH FEE & RUSH SHIPPING may apply.

    Please note that all items are crafted by hand just for you! To that end, please note that variations in the finished product may occur.

    Due to changes, beyond the control of Sweet Georgia Sweet, some suppliers may unexpectedly stop carrying a fabric, ribbon, or color in the item(s) pictured in the shop. SGS works hard to make sure all photos are up to date with currently available materials. However, from time to time, there may arise a fabric, ribbon, or color that is suddenly no longer available. If this is the case with your purchase(s), SGS will offer you a full refund or a substituting fabric, ribbon, or color, resolving the situation to your satisfaction.

    Additionally, please note that because of variations among monitors and mobile devices, colors may appear slightly different on screen than in real life. If desired, please ask for clarification. Also, a close-up photo of IN STOCK ribbon or fabric may be requested via email.
