I didn't realize when I ordered that it was being "custom-made". After 10 days with no info on delivery I wanted to CANCEL since this was a birthday gift for my granddaughter in Denmark and mailing is usually 10 days. The response was "oh, I started the order last night, will finish tomorrow and get it to you in time to mail. The product was very cute, fit perfectly and arrived in time but the stitching seams are very SCRATCHY and cannot be used as a gymnastics leotard, maybe a swimsuit??? Too expensive to mail and return. DISAPPOINTED!!! I sent an message to the place where it was made, somewhere in Florida, and it said they were closed for 2 weeks for moving. Not sure if she got my message. The LEOTARD should have had a lining!!! NOT HAPPY!!!

Hi, I am sorry that you were not happy with your purchase. All of my work is custom made by me. Gymnastics leotards are not usually lined, except for at the crotch seam. I am glad that you thought the item was cute, and that it arrived on time and fit perfectly.

I am a self taught seamstress who is passionate about creating clothing

My shop started with me wanting to offer some of my work to other people outside of my family. After listing a couple of items I saw that my women's clothing became very popular. I have been featured on numerous blogs, the front page of Etsy, and Etsy fashion e-mails. I have recently started making gymnastics, dance, and swim garments and those are proving popular as well.

I am a self taught seamstress, everything that I know about garment construction I have learned by reading and practice. I love learning new styles, and browsing through fabric stores to get inspiration.

I am married with 7 children and also homeschool. I love being able to incorporate my business into their studies and think it would be awesome if my children grew up to become entrepreneurs.

I take great joy in creating quality garments and each item I make is professionally done with attention to detail. I am looking forward to what is in store for Sweet Home Boutique with this great Etsy Experiment!

Hi, I want to provide you with the highest quality of service, and products, with the best price possible.
All of my clothing and accessories are constructed after the order is placed. Please allow up to two weeks before your order is shipped (usually much faster 2-4 days, depending on workload) You can either order the standard sizing, or the work can be customized to fit your preference. (shorter, taller , wider, narrower etc.) If you see a pattern that you like, but are interested in another fabric, let me know and I can custom order it for you for 5.00 extra. If you pick a fabric that I already have in my shop there is no additional charge for your order.

As soon as your payment clears I will start construction on your order.
