Each article of jewelry in this shop is handcrafted in my Houston studio. I strive for superior craftsmanship, strength, and durability in my designs while also retaining an airy, uncomplicated aesthetic. The goal of a piece is to achieve a substantial hand feel and texture while remaining visually weightless.
The pieces you'll find in this shop are inspired by various tools and acquired techniques as well as unique semiprecious stones. While I work mainly in sterling silver (92.5%) or fine silver (99.9%), I am constantly improving my skills to add visual interest to my jewelry and hope to work with gold in the near future.

A curious collector
Handmade jewelry always grabs my attention, especially when it involves beautiful gemstones. Pieces you can't find anywhere else and you won't see on other people. My interest in jewelry began with beading. Nothing fancy; just pretty stones and sterling silver. Soon, I was able to afford to take a class in metalsmithing, bought a torch, and set up a studio in my house.
Part of my design process is making pieces that I want and can't find elsewhere. My husband and I try to live simply, without alot of "stuff" and eat vegetarian most of the time. This lifestyle ethic probably influences my jewelry designs, making them simple and wearable, but still interesting. Trends are not for me and I’ve never wanted to follow the status quo. Given more time in the studio and mastering more techniques, I think Geophilia could be something special.

Returns and exchange details
**A $5 restocking fee will be applied to all returns.**
It may take up to 7 days to refund your purchase once I receive the items.
Payment
Shipping
I will not refund returned items until they are returned to my doorstep.
I use the USPS and will try to get items out no more than 3 business days after receipt of payment, except for made-to-order items which will be shipped within 7 business days. If you need the item in a hurry, please choose the shipping upgrade available to you.
All orders are shipped in a brown kraft paper gift box with my current logo stamped on top, tissue paper inside, and wrapped with colored paper ribbon.

Sizing details
BANGLE SIZNG:
Bangles are a solid circle that the hand is slipped through. If you currently own bangles that fit well, measure the INSIDE diameter of those and that will be your size.
Otherwise, squish your hand together as though you are putting on a bangle, then measure around the widest portion of your hand with a fabric tape measure and divide that number by 3.14 for your size. For example, I wear a size 2.5 but my measurement comes out to 2.38-2.46.
If measuring in cm: (Inch = cm/2.54).
CUFF SIZNG
Measure your wrist all the way around with a fabric measuring tape. Like it more snug? Order a half inch smaller than your wrist measurement. Like it more loose? Order the exact size of your wrist.
Ring Sizing
Please be sure of your ring size before ordering. Any local jeweler in your town will be happy to measure your fingers and test your size.
I accept exchanges of all-silver rings (customer pays return shipping both ways). However, I cannot resize rings with stones.
