A glimpse into my passion

I adore creating beautiful things and I love to sew! As a child I was drawing out patterns from quilting books and sorting a collection of buttons from an old coffee tin. Having an extremely creative Mother and Grandmother led me to seek a life overflowing with creativity. It turned into a consuming passion!

I am always creating. It used to make my husband a little crazy because I can't just sit and watch a movie. I either have a sewing project in hand or I'm knitting something. I just need that creative outlet. It's like breathing to me! He thankfully has gotten used to it!

When my daughter was born in 2009 I began sewing skirts. It just made sense. She was a darling girl and she needed ruffles. Lots of them! From there with the support of friends and my handsome husband I took a leap of faith in June of 2011 and opened Sweet Sapling.

My desire is to provide you with nothing but the best! It's what I give to my own children and it gives me great joy to pass on each beautifully handmade piece to your children, your friends children and your grandchildren.

With that in mind I strive for perfection in each piece I design. I use only the best quality designer cotton fabrics that are soft and luxurious to the touch and are extremely durable. With skirts all seams are serged giving a professional finish. Each are truly a labor of love!

I have been so blessed to turn my passion into a business! It is such a joy to create something special for you to be passed down for generations.

Welcome & thanks for visiting my shop! I have a passion for all things creative. Everything here is handmade by me based on whatever inspires me at the moment. I take pride in using high quality fabrics and making each item at boutique quality. So, if you see something you like, purchase it! You just might not find another one exactly like it!

I accept Paypal. If your item(s) are not paid for within 3 days of check out, the sale will be cancelled and the item(s) relisted. Please contact me if you have any trouble checking out. You do not need a Paypal account to purchase and item. You can pay directly with a credit card.

Please note that custom made orders will not be started until payment is received in full.

Please keep this in mind when ordering and do let me know if you require expedited shipping. I can make arrangements in most cases. Please note, according to USPS Christmas shipping deadlines, the last day to ship for 1st CLASS MAIL is DECEMBER 20TH and the last day to ship for PRIORITY MAIL (upgraded shipping required) is DECEMBER 21ST. https://www.usps.com/holiday/welcome.htm

If you place an order with me, please know that I will ship it out in time to meet the USPS deadlines, however, there is always a possibility that the USPS will have shipping delays on their end that are out of my control.

I ship USPS First Class Parcel with Delivery Confirmation within the US. Insurance is available for an extra fee. If you need an item sooner, please convo me for priority pricing.

All in stock items will be shipped within 2-3 business days after payment is received. Custom orders will be shipped within two weeks after receipt of payment.

If you are local and would like to pick up your item(s), please convo me. I will either refund the shipping charges or set up a customized listing.

International Shipping
I ship internationally under the following conditions:

I reserve the right to refuse to process any order or to refuse to ship to certain countries.

Most orders are shipped by International First Class Mail or UPS. Delivery for most shipments is estimated by the US Post Office at 7-10 days. Although most parcels arrive in this time frame, there can be delays due to many factors including higher volume of mail, increased security concerns and time to clear customs. There have been instances of parcels taking 3-4 weeks to arrive. I have no control over the postal services and therefore cannot and will not guarantee arrival dates or give credit for delays in shipping.

If you order does not arrive within 30 days, I can place a claim with the US Post Office or UPS for a lost parcel. Under US Postal regulations, this is the earliest I can ask for a claim inquiry. It can take an additional 30 days for the Post Office to investigate.

Customs, Duty Tax and VAT - Your parcel may be subject to a customs, duty or VAT tax. The regulations concerning whether or not your order will apply vary by country and it is the obligation of the consumer to obtain information concerning these taxes and pay them if necessary. You can usually obtain this information by contacting your postal office or customs office. I will not falsify any information on the customs forms.

Refunds and Exchanges
My number one goal is customer satisfaction, so I hope you will be thrilled with your purchase. If you receive an item that you are not 100% completely satisfied with, please contact me within 7 days to arrange a timely return of the item for an in store credit. Shipping costs are at the expense of the buyer.

Unfortunately, I am unable to give returns on custom orders or worn, soiled or washed item(s).
Additional policies and FAQs
All Sweet Sapling items are created with customer safety in mind. Some items may have buttons, ribbons, bows, etc. and may be a choking hazard for small children. Please keep such items away from your child's mouth. At time of purchase, you are agreeing Sweet Sapling is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur while wearing or using our items.
