SweetSavours Natural Body Care Apothecary began with a situation that left me in critical need of soaps and lotions that would not further irritate my medication damaged, extremely dry skin. When I didn't find one thing that met my skin’s needs, I took the steps to learn how to make my own skin care products. Melt and pour soaps worked well for me. I'm a "Georgia Girl" Growing up and learning to cook, I was taught to add a “little something extra" to whatever I was cooking. Those lessons transferred to the soaps I made. I was inspired to add a little extra butter or another kind of oil. The different ingredients worked well together and were well liked.
Soap led to lip balm, and then door opened for me to learn how to make other body care products. My family and friends liked what I was making and began to ask for more. I wanted then and still want now for what they people buy from me to be the best. My heart and mind go into every product made. I take the time to research ingredients and then formulate the products. After a lot of loving encouragement, I began to consider and envision my little “hobby” as a business. This is when SweetSavours Natural Body Care Apothecary began to grow.
The heart of SweetSavours is simple – uniquely natural. Everyone of us has an innate need to be and be seen as unique and individual. That's how we are made, beautifully particular. SweetSavours’ purpose and goal is to make natural body care products that are uniquely formulated to meet specific skin care needs, to be a great product and priced not break my a person’s budget. A wide variety of natural ingredients: butters, oils, and extracts are used to make each of the “Savours” in the product line. Of course, the key ingredient is LOVE.
Each of us makes deliberate decisions about what we put into our bodies. You think about what it tastes like and how it smells. You also consider the cost and that often determines what we buy. Well, what about what you put ON your body? Every day, with every opportunity, why not take the time to make your personal time exceptional? By design, that's what you are, Phenomenally Exceptional! Come on! Make the most of ordinary moments. Put on a special, soothing LipSavour or smooth on a skin indulgent Luxuri, or Lux Body Lotion. You really do deserve it!
