When a knitter just couldn't get enough sheep-y goodness.

My love affair with knitting began about 8 years ago and it has slowly-but-surely expanded into all corners of my life. I now spin my own yarn, maintain an active blog, and design knitwear patterns... but that wasn't enough! At a knitting convention (yes, those exist!) I tried a lotion bar for the first time and was hooked. Plagued with perpetually dry hands, I was a lotion junky and the solid bars soothed my skin like no liquid lotion ever had.

However, those bars just weren't quite right. I wanted the bar to feel softer in my hands, I wanted it to glide on more smoothly, and I wanted control over the intensity of fragrance. Most importantly, I wanted the bars to contain lanolin, the super-moisturizing compound found in sheep's wool (because a knitter can never get enough). Clearly, I had to try making some myself! After numerous trials and rounds of product testing with the help of volunteers through my blog, I came up with a recipe that I think is just right. I hope you think so, too!

Our products have been mentioned and reviewed on several blogs, here are some of the links to check out!

Hi! I believe strongly in getting back-to-basics when it comes to items that we use in our everyday lives -- basically, if it can be made by hand with higher-quality ingredients and safer practices, then I think it should be! Handmade body care products are both luxurious and practical. They contain nothing but skin-softening and nourishing ingredients--no petroleum byproducts, no fillers. Try some today and you'll never go back to the store-bought stuff.
