The story of Sweet Sparrow Design
Hi, I'm Tara!
I'm a mama of three feisty kids, a farm wife, and am based in the heart of rural southern Manitoba, Canada.
The idea of Sweet Sparrow Design hatched in 2010 with my mother (Diana) + I. Diana was already sewing gifts for her growing bunch of grandchildren and had years of sewing experience. While nesting and awaiting the birth of my first child in 2010, I began to spend time at my sewing machine creating handmade items for him. My mom and I already had our own vintage shops on Etsy and realized what an amazing creative outlet creating handmade items for others would be.
Over the years, my family has grown and I chose to stay home with my young children. March 2016, my mom "retired" from Sweet Sparrow Design. During kids' nap times and late nights, I have continued to pursue growing my handmade business. I am excited to be able to continue to create beautiful and functional handmade items for you and your family.

How long does it take to make my order prior to shipping?
Current production times vary from 5-10 business days prior to your item being shipped. Each item is carefully handmade upon receipt of order.

Does my order have a tracking #?
Our standard shipping does not include a tracking number. If you would like tracking for your order, please message us PRIOR to ordering so we can check pricing to your location. Then we can provide you with shipping options and pricing.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Orders are wrapped in tissue paper with a business card. If you would like a personalized note added, please include information in the "NOTES TO SELLER" section at checkout. We do not include the sales receipt with orders marked as a gift, however if shipping to USA or International, we do need to disclose the value of item on customs form.
