Functional Art

People always ask me what inspired me to start my company. The answer is simple really....it was some wine and laughing with friends.

I was in direct sales for a great jewelry company that suddenly closed. I had a huge stock of beads and had no idea what to do with them. It was at my own BBQ party that the "light bulb" went off. I was serving a dish and some of the fancy beads were no longer attached to my serving piece. Duh, they were glued. What if I wove the beads on with wire? What if I didn't have to hand wash them but could put them in the dishwasher? What if the piece was functional as well as art?

Through the years, styles have changed but my main priority is to continue making pieces that will not fall apart after use. Pretty and functional is my motto. Functional Art!

Returns and exchange details
Returns are not accepted unless the item is damaged upon arrival. Pictures will be needed to show proof. Exchanges are made in certain circumstances. The purchaser will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Custom orders are not refundable.

Taxes are applicable for the state of Illinois.
Shipping
All pieces are carefully packaged in purple paper. Orders are shipped within 5 working days of your payment clearing. Please allow 3 weeks for any custom orders and any orders shipped outside the USA may take up to 3 weeks or more.

For all outside USA sales, please be aware of international custom charges.
International shipping sometimes requires taxes at the port of call. The purchaser is responsible for these costs. Shipping insurance can be arranged if requested by customer. Please allow 3 + weeks for delivery.

In the event that a package is damaged during shipping, please contact me immediately. Please send photographs of the damaged items and the packaging/box.

Swiddles is located in Illinois, USA.

I check every piece for any broken beads or loosening wire before shipping. I use quality materials and hand make all my pieces myself. Hand washing is recommended My pieces are not intended for children under 10 years of age.
