Our goal is to provide you with fun and creative items for your birthday parties, holiday parties, social events, and weddings! Please visit our shop often as we continue to grow and add new items.
We look forward to serving you. We have owned and operated Paper Cottage, a fun little retail craft and party shop in the heart of Boise, Idaho for the past 17 years. If you are ever in the area we invite you to stop by and visit us. Our business hours are Monday through Saturday 9:00am - 8:00pm MST. We have been blessed with five wonderful children and an amazing staff that is dedicated to helping our great customers find just what they need. If you prefer a custom or reserved listing versus purchasing items individually, simply send us a list of your items and quantities in a convo. We are more than happy to create a custom listing for you! We would prefer to do this with large orders. We ask that you purchase reserved listing ASAP as the listings that we use to create custom listing usually expire within 48 hours.

We accept Etsy direct Check Out, Paypal, Credit Cards (through paypal but not paypal account is required), and Etsy gift cards.
PayPal eChecks must clear before we can process the order. This process typically takes 3-5 business days. Production and Fulfillment on your order will not begin until payment has been received.
Idaho residents are required to pay 6% sales tax.
We no longer accept requests to cancel orders. Because orders are picked and shipped so quickly through our retail shop, our fulfillment staff does not see convos. All convos are answered off site from our home office. Often by the time a cancellation or change of address is requested or seen, our staff have likely already packaged the order. Thank you for your understanding.
Any RESERVED listings will be canceled after THREE days if not given notice that you need it held longer than that. Please do not make a request for a reserved or custom listing unless you plan to purchase it.
We do our best to ship all orders within 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS. Shipping is fast because we have USPS postal unit within our retail shop and our postman picks up packages 2X’s a day. We pick orders Monday- Saturday. If we have a question regarding your order, we will message you via esty convo and then hold your order and wait to ship it until we hear back from you.
Once your package is marked “Acceptance” by USPS, we are no longer responsible for its delivery. You can expect First Class packages to be delivered in 3-5 business days, and Priority Mail in 2-3 business days (from the date we ship). International orders take approx. 2-4 weeks for delivery.

Please convo us if you are wanting international shipping upgrades or express overnight shipping.
All items ship United States Post Office unless we have made arrangements with you to ship another method via esty convo.
Orders will be shipped to the address stated on your PayPal or Etsy account. If you need your package shipped somewhere other than the paypal address, please leave a note with new address when checking out. Because we process orders so quickly we do not always see convo for request for change of address change before your package is shipped.
**NOTE** Once your package is turned over to USPS (or any other courier) We can no longer assume responsibility for the package, but we will do my best to help you track it. Shipping insurance is always available upon request. Unless you ask and pay for postage insurance, we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
We are not responsible for any fees assessed once your package crosses into your country, but we will ship whichever method you prefer.
We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged uninsured goods. You may pay an extra shipping fees and insurance if you wish for protection. Just convo me BEFORE you purchase. Extra fees need to be added to your listing before payment is made.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason, please contact us immediately. Refund or exchange requests MUST be made within 3 days of packages being marked “Delivered” by USPS.
Due to the nature of the food related products in our shop - some of these are non returnable.
We do not refund any purchase that are not delivered due to being provided the wrong address on EITHER your PAYPAL or ETSY invoice! Please make sure your esty and paypal address is updated on your account before ordering.
