This is so darn cute, I hate to put it on the hat I got it for. Very fast delivery.

Just a very sweet flower that I needed to fix a boo boo on a hat I made. Love it!

Making my Etsy store work is a dream of mine.

I started my shop when I once found myself suddenly unemployed. I realized it was a golden chance to live the dream. Crochet is what I love to do the most, anyway! I spent months learning marketing techniques, and more months learning how to photograph my items to show them to best advantage.

I brainstormed until I came up with a system of headbands that was versatile, pretty, and practical. I steered away from alligator clips because they fall off.....so I came up with the snap idea.

Above all else, I prefer making one-of-a-kind designs, and have branched out into making all kinds of handbags and purses, each with a personality all their own.

My shop is still in its infancy. I'd love to hear what you'd like me to make for you. I make scarves, shawls, afghans, and more.....just haven't added them to the shop yet.

I have a B.A. in English, love to read and write, and have been crocheting since I was 8 years old. I'm a perfectionist. I'm always exploring new techniques and ideas. I really love to crochet! I also like to sing and play with kids and pets.

Hello! I'm Shirley, and I'm doing what I love: Creating the most beautiful things I can think of, with my imagination and crochet hooks. I've been making things for people since I was a small child. I would love to make something for you!

I will try to get all my policies right. Sigh. (It's much more fun to make things than to write all this stuff down!)

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Money Order
I accept PayPal and money orders. Please pay within 24 hours of purchase. I am required to charge 6.85% tax to any purchases within the State of Utah.
Each item will ship via first-class U.S. mail on the day after purchase, unless we make other arrangements. If you need rush shipping, please tell me and I'll make it happen.

For anything to be shipped outside the United States, you will be responsible for any fees at customs.
Refunds and Exchanges
Of course I want you to be thrilled with your purchase, and to come back regularly! I am pretty picky about making each piece as perfect as possible, but if you find a problem, I'll do my best to make it right.

If the wrong item is sent (let's hope THAT never happens!), I will pay the return postage. If there is a serious flaw in an item (GASP!), I will pay the return postage.

All sales are final on custom orders, unless I have made a critical error, which I hope is extremely unlikely.

Please Note: All measurements are approximate. Because of the handmade nature of these items, there may be slight differences in color, size or design from item to item.

Please Also Note: Due to the differences in monitor colors, I cannot guarantee that the colors will be exactly the same as what is on your screen. However, I will do my best to describe the colors if you have questions. I can also give you the yarn brands and color names for any item, so you can cross-reference the color with the manufacturer.)
Additional policies and FAQs
All items are made in a smoke-free home. I love making custom items, and I'll gladly brainstorm and work with you on your ideas (see alchemy section).

You will certainly be able to talk me into a discount for bulk orders.

I do own two darling kitties, but I, not they, am the one making my products, so I believe there is no potential problem there--unless you are severely (anaphylactically) allergic.

If I should accidentally disobey any of Etsy's rules, please tell me. :-)

So--enough of the boring stuff, already.
