For as long as I can remember, I have always loved books. I discovered the fascinating world of bookbinding in 1995 at the School of Craft of Quebec City. I like to use traditional techniques to create contemporary bindings that are simple and functional. Very often, it is the materials that I use that give me inspiration (goat leather, skins of fish and reptiles, colored and textured paper, canvas fabric ...) Take a book in your hands, feel the texture of the cover’s leather (or other material), smell the scent of the paper. This already creates a nice atmosphere for writing. A beautiful book is inspiring. It gives the taste for writing beautiful stories, true or fictional. You can also decorate your text with drawings. A beautiful binding is timeless!
