Syma-CERAMIC SMALL WORKS is my collection of porcelain and terracotta mythical magical interactive gifts and wearable art. Recently added are my food safe printed “Magical Dishes to Feed a Romance” and my printed ceramic tile coasters.
Inspired by ancient artifacts and spiritual objects; and drawing on my degree in psychology; I am developing this line of hand-made limited-edition versions of my larger one-of-a-kind conceptual/ interactive clay with mixed media sculptures and vessels.
For more information about my larger works, I invite you to visit my website: www.symastudios.com

5 out of 5 starsA very special, magical piece to add to my collection of Syma's works. My mother purchased my first bell, from Syma's "one-of-kind" series, back in 1980, before she fell into the shadows of Alzheimer's Disease. I've cherished it since then, it's not just a bell, but an object of affection that's close to my heart..and like Syma says, "I make these works to remind myself that in life, nothing is ever what it seems to be..." Forty one years later, I'm thrilled start a proper collection of her work. This is where Etsy raises the bar, from being a platform for crafters to sell their crafts, to where artists sell their Art.
