It's Never Too Late To Start Again

I began a new chapter in my life by taking a two-hour class at a local bead shop. My daughter told me that I needed a hobby so that when she left for college I would have something to do. I had been a stay-at-home mom and was feeling a bit apprehensive about how I would fill my time once she was 400+ miles away.

Fast forward 5 years...she's now a college graduate and I have discovered my passion. Metalsmithing!! Since that first class, I have taken many classes on silversmithing, jewelry design, enameling, etc. at Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and have my own home studio where I create my pieces.

I enjoy nature and her seasons and I call Michigan home. I was born here and have lived in Michigan my whole life, except for a short time in Florida during my high school and college years. The beauty of Michigan is embodied in my work. The multitude of colors and textures draws me to include those elements in the pieces that I make.

So, it's never too late to discover what you were meant to do, and I am fortunate enough to have made that discovery. Please enjoy my shop and look around. If you have any questions, please feel free to send a message my way.

Thank you!

A few years ago, my "empty nest" resulted in my finding a new passion--metalsmithing! I find great happiness in being able to fabricate a piece of jewelry that my customer will enjoy wearing as much as I enjoyed the process of making it.

Welcome to my shop!

Artisan crafted jewelry is created by hand, therefore no two items are identical. Each one of the pieces in my shop is typically completely handmade from scratch, including jump rings and clasps, made from sheet and wire metals using a range of metalsmithing and jewelry making techniques. The only exceptions are the beads or chain that I may use as accents and sometimes a purchased cord/chain for a pendant. The jewelry pieces that you see in my shop do not look machine made--they were crafted by me with my hands and tools in my little studio. Remember, the pictures are MAGNIFIED- larger than actual size and showing things that the naked eye cannot see. All listings come with measurements. Questions regarding size? Please message me!

I have tried to make my policies as clear and thorough as possible. If you have questions about them, please ask before ordering. I want you to be as happy with your item as I was in making it, so please, communicate - I will respond to all contacts as quickly as possible.
