Striving to create an installation of light

Szal design started as a way to bring contemporary art glass work to the masses. In the United States, the Tiffany style of stained glass panels and lamps is usually the most familiar, followed by the ecclesiastical style and prairie style developed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Contemporary art glass work is relatively unknown and undiscovered compared to Europe.

Szal Design seeks to correct this imbalance by offering high quality, contemporary art glass pieces through the wonderful marketplace of Etsy.

All of our pieces use mouth-blown glass, and we utilize all of our scrap glass to create a variety of beautiful, upcycled pieces.
