About

Illustrator who loves to create timeless and atmospheric pieces

I am a freelance artist, illustrator and mother, living and working in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, having graduated from Kingston University in 2008 with a BA (Hons) in Illustration and Animation.

Working primarily with chalk pastel, pencil and coloured pencil, I aim to convey a strong sense of feeling and atmosphere. There are often surreal elements in my work which serve to communicate something deeper than appearances. I enjoy the process of storytelling as well as loving the immediacy of drawing from life, and especially nature.

A busy work life sees me working on commissions (both private and for publishers and other businesses), taking part in Art Exhibitions, selling my work at Art Fairs, and managing online sales. I truly appreciate every sale, every little piece of my work making its way out into the world and onto someone's wall, or given as a gift. It is always heartening and inspiring to hear feedback from those (adults and children) who relate to or are moved by a particular piece or pieces.

All my prints are sent First Class with Royal Mail.

Within the UK: they can always be tracked and require a signature on delivery (unless you specifically ask that this not be the case).

Outside of the UK: I also send all my prints First Class with Royal Mail, but depending on the destination it is not always possible to send tracked, with a signature required.

My cards and wrapping paper are also sent First class with Royal Mail.

I stay in touch with each customer until their prints, cards or wrapping paper have arrived safe and sound!

All is included in the shipping price.

In order to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition, all prints are backed with stiff cardboard, wrapped in clear plastic and bubble wrap and sent in a padded envelope.
