Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

CLEANING:
Wear gloves while handling the mold to prevent fingerprints and scratches. To remove dust or fingerprints gently use a piece of tape, press, gently rub, and lift. You can wash your mold with a mild soap. Pat dry with a lint-free cloth or let air dry, face down.

STORING:
Store your mold in a cool, dry place. Store it in the bag you received it in to keep dust and hair off of it.

MORE DON'TS:
Do not wipe your mold with rubbing alcohol or harsh chemicals, it will dull the shiny finish. Do not use paper towels or your fingernails on the mold, it will scratch it. Do not use the mold for any cooking applications.

Sizing details

Please check the size before purchasing. See photos for measurement details.

Caution, these silicone molds are for craft use only.

Do not use the mold for any cooking applications. This silicone is industrial grade, not food grade.

Do not use with high temperature materials like liquid metals. Molds can be used with the following materials: soap, resin, epoxies, UV resin, polymer clay, and concrete.

Do not torch your resin while it is in the mold!!!

BUBBLES:
Try to get rid of the bubbles while they are in the mixing cup! You can put your mixing cup in a bowl of hot water. Slowly stir, then let the resin sit and they will rise to the top. You can use a lighter or heat gun on low. Only do this while the resin is in the mixing cup, not while it is in the mold! I strongly suggest using a release agent or silicone oil, prior to pouring the resin in the mold.

DO NOT USE A TORCH TO POP BUBBLES:
Excessive heat of any kind will cause the resin to fuse with the mold. It is more likely to tear and become damaged. Torching resin also causes some resins/epoxies to release harmful fumes.

International shipping?

Sorry I currently do not ship internationally.

Safety

While using resin/epoxy, please follow all safety protocols like wearing gloves, a respirator, and eye protection. Educate yourself!
