Clay and Cloth
1. Highly pleasing to the senses, especially affecting the
sense of touch and sight.
2. Evoking comfort and happiness through touch.
Each day is different, but the question is always the same. What to make? What color? Image? Pattern? Watching the pieces fall into place, and the ideas bubble around what I already know and stretch further every time - well it's magical watching the thoughts bounce around inside my head sometimes.
Quilting started with an old comforter long in need of a replacement, which I taught myself how to hand patch, and sew. Now more than 20 years an Arts Degree, and over 60 quilts later, sewing and quilting have become a passion verging on obsession. With a combination of eclectic Zakka style and colorful expressionism - I'm full blown busy all the time. Happily making in every spare moment.
Now I'm expanding into using my ceramic knowledge to make fun and beautiful things for anyone who can find them useful. Who knows just what will come next.

I'm a two pronged fork stuck in clay and cloth alike. My sweet tooth for making is only getting stronger with each and every delicious Button-y, Quilt-y bite.
My shop philosophy is to make beautiful handmade items that will last.
We are a small home based studio, situated in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in the heart the province. With beautiful Rocky Mountains on one side of the city and stretches of Prairie horizon on the other side of the city, there is endless inspiration on our doorstep. Winter is the 'making' season for fibre arts, as it lasts for 7 months, but we're lucky to get a spell of warm every month or so, to get out and enjoy the sunshine a little. Then comes summer and it's all clay all the time.

I don't feature Fibre prototypes so your purchase is ready to go the next day. Therefore cancellations must happen promptly after purchase, or the buyer must pay return shipping to get it back to me and receive a refund.
Ceramic works, are frequently already completed, though they may be re-listed as a prototype. At which point, turn around is about 3 weeks from order to shipping.
I try to use recycled boxes and packing material to save you money, and to be a little less harsh on the environment, so each parcel may differ slightly in size.
The buyer is responsible for any additional fees that may be charged at customs.
Items will not come with a tracking number unless specifically requested, at which point there will be an additional fee.
