tallulahTALLULAH's Shop Announcement

I LOVE the Etsy community.
In my shop, you'll find Vintage & Antique items, in just about every category.
I especially adore TEXTILES and fashion-related items, as I had a fashion accessory business for over 35 years, established in 1971.
See PROFILE for more details about Tallulah.

About a decade ago, I ended up becoming involved with vintage cookware and tableware. Old small appliances are beautiful and I've never sold a one that didn't work like the day it was made! Everything I sell is clean and/or has been totally detailed. I sell items in the condition I'd like to receive them. You'll find all kinds of vintage goods in my shop, from kitchen kitsch to old pottery to textiles to serious antiques. Check in often and watch my shop expand with a wonderful & broad selection!

Soon I'll be concentrating on getting some of "Tallulah" stock in my shop; vintage textile handbags, chokers, halters, belts, etc.....

Welcome to my Etsy shop! I'm new here, so it'll take me a little time to get the wheels rolling, when I'll be offering you a grand selection of my fine fashion accessories, all handmade by myself. I love vintage textiles and have worked with them since 1971. Aside from their beauty, I've always loved the fact that I have, in essence, been recycling for over 3 decades! I will be offering my textile bags, leather belts, cool caps, along with some wild millinery, and other hair accessories. Many of the pieces I'll be selling are pieces created YEARS ago, recently rediscovered beauties that I think you'll appreciate!
NOTE: For the time being, I will be using this shop for my VINTAGE wares, until another is in place.

PayPal for payment. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can still go to and scroll down to make a ONE TIME payment with your CREDIT CARD. Simple & Quick!
Once committed to a purchase, please pay within 48 hours of your purchase. Otherwise, I will have to relist the item.

Sorry, at this time I am basically only selling to the United States. I'm happy to ship Internationally, but it's become quite expensive for anthing over a pound, especially for Priority Int'l, which gives me protection.
I can ship First Class Int'l for a better rate for you, but you must understand that I cannot be responsible for damage or loss. No tracking for First Class Int'l.
All Int'l inquiries welcomed. I can always edit any ad for your shipping.
I pack exceptionally well, which costs more in time & materials. Items should not shift, and proper packing may add density & weight.
Entered shipping cost is an ESTIMATE, based on rate to opposite coast. Once shipped, if cost is less than I anticipated, I will gladly send back a partial refund, if beyond what my estimate for materials were. I rarely take a handling fee. Some large or bulky items require a purchase carton and I will add that into shipping rate. If I am lucky to find a 'freebie' the proper dimensions then I will deduct & refund cost of box.
I use FedEx for most items over 4 pounds for best rate, plus insurance & tracking is included.
All items shipped USPS Standard or Priority have tracking now. I add tracking to First Class, built into rate. Some items require insurance, and cost will be added into rate.

Refunds and Exchanges

Generally, I do not accept returns.
For VINTAGE: All items are described in great detail, including colors, dimensions, any flaws, etc. to the best of my ability. I invite any & all questions before your purchase. Often I can forward more images if you request them, as I am limited to five images on Etsy.
For TALLULAH items.....My work is very well made. I sold to high-end establishments. Many of my pieces are made from Vintage textiles, so items must be treated with care. Old textiles have been tested for strength, and in many cases washed in very hot water. I learned the hard way to test my fabrics before I make anything.....
If there is a problem that escaped my scrutiny, contact must be made immediately, and we can discuss it. I want my buyers to be happy!

Additional Policies and FAQs

As mentioned, in the past, I have sold my wares to high-end stores & boutiques. My prices here on Etsy are set a bit above wholesale price; OLD wholesale price, that is. Any comparable new pieces created would likely cost more. My line fluctuates in price, depending on particular item. Posted prices are far below retail cost.
Once my workroom has been set up to my specifications, I will be able to accept custom orders on some items.
