5 out of 5 starsOh, this is a really gorgeous necklace! The pastel shades of the beads combine to blend in all sorts of lovely hues, and the lovely long length is perfect to showcase the amazing glass pendant with its terrific tassel! This is beautifully made with lots of care to fine craftsmanship! The shipping was super fast, too! Altogether a great shopping experience in every way!

My Journey...
I was born and raised in beautiful California, and I have lived here my whole life. The lifestyle we live here is a huge influence on my work. The ocean, the mountains, the wine country, the history, the architecture, the nature. I love living in and exploring California!
I married my high school sweetheart and we began growing our little family. Our second child surprised us.....she has Down Syndrome. That changed the direction of my life and I began thinking of ways I could pursue my creative dream and always be available to her. Etsy allows me the freedom to do that.
I had been making jewelry for myself and friends and family forever, and at a certain point, I decided to get more serious about the craft. I enrolled in and completed an online jewelry design course, "New York Institute Of Art And Design," and about mid-way through, I opened my jewelry shop here on Etsy.
As women, we spin a lot of plates (and then I guess we serve up a great meal on them, right?!) Our lives are busy and our families depend on us all along the way. But it is really important to find time and opportunities to treat ourselves (and be treated by our special people) now and then. I believe we are worth it!
That is what I strive to do here at "Tami Lopez Designs". Create beautiful, unique jewelry that celebrates the beautiful, unique women who wear it. When I am designing and making a piece of jewelry, I am thinking a lot about the woman who will wear it. I feel that my jewelry is only complete when it finds its way into the possession of the special woman it is intended for.
So beads and wire have taken me on a journey. What started as just a fun hobby has become quite a bit more. It has created so many opportunities for me and been full of surprises. What I am finding is that beads and wire have become a bridge to so many beautiful people...a connection that I never imagined when I first began this craft.
Make memories, celebrate moments, love your life!
~Tami
p.s.: I have another shop "Simple Tilly", which has featured hand stitched items, dolls and vintage small items.

Additional policies and FAQs
I will discuss custom orders, but many of my materials are locally purchased in small quantities and not available for repeat purchase. If you are intersted in custom work, convo me and we can discuss that possibility.
I try to list the metals used in each piece of jewelry. I generally try to stay lead-free. Most of the metals I use are copper, brass, sterling silver, gold filled or silver plate over copper. Sometimes the metals in my head pins or commercial jump links are unknown to me. If you have a metal sensitivity--please convo me about this and I will carefully inspect the piece you are interested in and how we can make it safe for you. Having said that, it is your responsibility to know what allergies/sensitivities you have and how the metals affect you. I am not a medical person and I don't give medical advice.
If you purchase jewelry from me, please know that I guarantee my work. I carefully inspect each purchased piece before I mail out. If, however, you receive a piece of jewelry that malfunctions (non-working clasps, chipped or broken beads, broken chain, any other broken parts) please convo me and I will be glad to have you mail the piece back to me for repair. Repair is free, but I do require that the customer pay for shipping.
