Returns and exchanges
U.S. buyers have the option of a return. The return window for all items is ten days from the date the item is shipped. If you need to return an item, please FIRST convo me with the reasons for your dissatisfaction. Let me make it right!

If you want to continue with the return, please let me know how you will be shipping it back, and double check the shipping address. Tandem Northwest will not refund shipping costs, but once I have received the item, I will refund you the purchase price.

If there is any reason you are unsatisfied or unimpressed with your purchase, please let me know! I appreciate your investment in this little venture, and I desire to honor it. You are not a "buyer," you are an individual and a friend.

The little vintage goodies and gifts you find secreted into your purchase are YOURS TO KEEP. Enjoy them!
PayPal is the only accepted mode of payment. PayPal is safe, easy, trackable, and provides the least headache and risk for both the buyer and the seller! If you don't have a PayPal account, I encourage you to set one up. Feel free to convo me with questions!

If you cancel your order once it has been shipped, you will be out the shipping costs, both ways, but get a full refund of the purchase price. I ship VERY QUICKLY, so the best thing to do is to make a well-thought out decision the first time. Convo me with your questions and concerns. I will always be honest with you. (See my "Additional Info" section for information about my commitment to integrity.)
All items are shipping in time for the next round of outgoing mail---same day before 2:00 p.m. or before 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time OR the next day. I will notify you if it is going to be late going out! Please be sure to double-check your shipping address.

Domestic purchases are will arrive within five days. I usually ship Priority Mail, but occasionally use a slower service to mitigate costs.

International purchases are shipped via First Class, which takes about two weeks. Keep in mind that customs, duties, and tariffs may be levied on your package when you go to pick it up! If your country is slow or stringent processing foreign parcels, your package may be very late!

I love these peices as much as you do---I'll give you a Domestic Order Confirmation Number or a Customs Tracking Number for items which come to more than $60.00, adding shipping and purchase price.
Additional policies and FAQs
--Vintage means pre-loved!
EVERY flaw I find is listed and photographed. Please do not expect perfection! If you bring a flaw to my attention in the listing that I did not notice, I am more than happy to rectify it. I seek to find vintage items in excellent, wearable condition, never with stains. If you find a significant flaw once the item as arrived, convo me and I will do my absolute utmost to make it right!

--Accurate photography.
All photos are taken outside in the great Northwest with a Nikon D5100. If a photo seems altered, it is only to show accurately the color of the photographed garment. The color of every piece is identical on my Mac's monitor to reality. Period. However, there are significant differences between monitors. I recommend you look at the item on several computers, specifically a Mac, as it will have the highest quality graphics. I do my best to include multiple angles, views, and pictures of garment tags to authenticate. My hope is to give a "three-way mirror" simulation.

--Ensuring the perfect fit with accurate measurements.
Measurements in the listings are clearly labeled and given in the English and Metric scales. I literally lay the garment flat before measuring to ensure accuracy. Measurements are taken seam-to-seam unless otherwise noted. The best way to make sure an item will fit you is to buy a Soft Fabric Tape Measure (Amazon.com). Carefully measure your body. Then find your best fitting clothes and record the measurements of the garment alongside. This will give you a good idea about how clothes fall on the body. When you purchase an item, ensure the measurements in the listing correspond to your best fitting clothes. If you are still nervous, convo me and I can double check my measurements!

--Reserving Items.
Item Reservation is a feature I am happy to offer so you feel comfortable with your buying decisions! Keep in mind that while I reserve an item, I am essentially turning potential buyers away. Please honor this courtesy by letting me know when you are ready to purchase.

--Golden Rules of Thumb.
1. "Would I as a buyer feel comfortable purchasing this item?"
If I would feel comfortable buying the item, I know I have hit the appropriate value. This is a win-win situation for you and me. Every item is a labor of love to present on Etsy.

2. "The Customer is always right!"
(I'll let you know if I encounter an exception. ---Just kidding.) You work hard for your money, and I will honor your investment in Tandem.

Love and kudos,
