}}} SHIPPING TIME {{{
I am currently shipping time delay for made-to-order items is 3-4 weeks from payment. Please plan accordingly for your bead orders. If you want to know what date your order will ship by, you can find it on your receipt. You will need to log into your account on any browser (not the app) and look in the top right of your invoice. You can expect your order to ship no later than this date.
If you need something sooner than the date shown, just let me know if you are in a rush. I realize you may have placed your order not knowing there would be a delay. I will do what I can to get your beads to you as quickly as possible, but unless there have been prior arrangements made I cannot guarantee shipment before the date on your invoice.
I frequently travel to do volunteer construction work. This work pulls me away from my studio for periods of 2-3 days or 2-3 weeks. I will set my shipping times accordingly.
What does this mean for you?
1) One time you order, you might receive your order almost right away when you were expecting to wait 2-3 weeks for it to ship. Whereas next time it will take the full allotted time for me to make your beads and ship your order.
2) If you are in a hurry or have deadlines to meet, it is best to ask before placing your order. Since I may be away from my studio for extended periods of time, it might be impossible for me to rush your order.

Beads Make the World Go 'Round

I started making glass beads in the corner of my laundry room on a hot head torch in 2001. After a year of playing around on my own, I took a 5-day class with Sage and Tom Holland. That was the first time I saw anyone else even make a bead. I came home with a vast knowledge of how beads are made and designed and my first Minor torch.
At that point in time, you just didn't find help and information anywhere online to guide you through trials and errors. That class was a huge step for me and I haven't looked back since. At first, I just sold a little bit here and there on eBay and then started taking spacer orders. While trying to keep things organized, I decided to start a color chart of all the available glass colors. (You can find that by searching 'serena color gallery' on the web.) I knew it would be helpful to my customers and to lampworkers too.
Now, the beads support the whole family. When you buy from me, you are aiding and abetting in the endeavors of the entire Thomas family. We are an intimate duo working to bring you high-quality lampwork beads for your versatile creations.

My current shipping time for any item that is made to order is within 3-4 weeks.
I ship first class, but priority mail is available for an additional fee. Delivery confirmation is included. I generally ship items Monday through Friday. For buyer's choice and made-to-order items, please allow time for completion. If you are in a rush, I need to know before you place your order. I will let you know then if I can get your beads to you in time.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Due to the current pandemic, I will not be issuing refunds for international packages once an order has been shipped. Shipping items overseas will be at your risk and longer than normal for delivery. Please be prepared for extended delays that are beyond my control.
I will NOT be including a printed invoice with your package. Customs has mistakenly assumed that any use of the word silver to describe my beads means something it doesn't. I do not want you to be charged unfairly for your lampwork beads with fine silver or silvered ivory. Buyers are responsible to pay for any import fees.
