We are distributors of Aram Ribbons, high quality narrow goods made for the garment industry, gift packaging and special applications. I have been a Hanah Silk Dealer for 20 years. Hanah hand paints bias silk ribbons. The ribbons are always seamed and have raw edges.

I have been a Schacht Spindle dealer for over 20 years, and carry spinning and weaving products.

Information on Hanah Silk Ribbons:
If you are going to sew the Hanah silk ribbon on washable clothing, this is what I would do:
First, fill a bowl up with cold water and 3/4 cup white vinegar. Immerse the ribbon, the vinegar sets the color. Let it sit for about 15 minutes. If you still see running, repeat.
Then you can rinse it, if you want to wash it, use a very gentle detergent like Original Blue Dawn which is pH neutral. You can rinse, and even add a little Snuggle to it.
Hang to dry, iron.
