Welcome!
We make lots of magnets, Ornaments and paperweights with FUN designs, original artwork and Vintage goods (maps + sheet music). From Vintage Map Paperweights (hello guy gifts!) to Paw Print magnets (perfect for the dog walker!) we've got something for everyone.
Shipping times can vary, our stock can vary, and you know, life happens. We also have a lot of One of a kind items, so when they're gone they're gone and it's best to order them when you see them!
We can ship to you or directly to your recipient! We offer gift wrapping, too, making your shopping (and shipping!) easier than ever.
There is still some of my handblown Glass here, too!
Everything is designed, and made in Cranston, Rhode Island in our little sunny studio.
Custom and wholesale inquiries are always welcomed.

My tools. While much has evolved over the years, glass tools have not. They are essentially the same now as 200 yrs ago

We welcome custom orders! And yes, this was for Facebook.

FUNctional Objects for Everyday Life
Here at Tanner Glass, we make FUNctional Objects. From bud vases to magnets, we want our goods to be used, and we've created a line that puts the FUN in functional
I started Tanner Glass over 18 years ago with a line of handblown glass bud vases, bottlestoppers and oil candles. Over the years, the line has evolved, and now includes some mixed media goods. We source Vintage maps, atlases and sheet music, as well as handmade Japanese Chiyogami papers to create our popular magnets and paperweights.
In 2015 I went back to the drawing board. Literally. I dug out my sketchbook + charcoals and just started drawing. I had no idea this would become a huge part of my business, and I'm grateful everyday for the overwhelming response to the Fauna Collection.
It's a constant challenge to design and make FUNctional Objects, but we love it! And we still blow glass, just not as much, and more for the fun of it.
All of our work is handmade in Rhode Island.

A: An object that is fun and practical to own.
Tanner Glass began in 1998 with a line of handblown glass goods- vases, bottlestoppers, ornaments and oil candles. Over the years, we've strayed a bit from our glassblowing roots and now focus on a line of glass/mixed media pieces that have quickly become our most popular items. While most of the work we do is focused on magnets, keychains and paperweights, we still get in the glass studio and will continue to keep some of our blown glass here, too!
