Natural Candles, Perfumes, Soaps & More

Announcement    LOTS of new products are in the making!.....

The (abbreviated) story
Every product in my store is a formulation created solely by me, no off-the-shelf recipes, no 3rd party manufacturers. I make everything in my own miniature lab that's about 20 feet away from where I am writing this.

To achieve the level of quality I wanted out of my products (which is obsessively high), I have to source the finest quality raw materials. They come from small farms everywhere around the world and were very difficult to find.

As you can imagine sourcing products this way has the downside of everything being *insanely* expensive. My costs are eye-watering and my margins are low. This is more a hobby for me, less a business, although I do operate as an LLC. So when you receive my products please think of them as less of a transaction and more of a gift from me to you- a glimpse at the natural wonders of our earth distilled into beautiful bottles.

But what does your name mean?

Nothing! One of the most interesting things about me is that I have absolutely zero creative talent of any kind.

I developed entire product lines in order to procrastinate coming up with a name. It is easier for me to do chemistry than to come up with a catchy brand.

After about 8 months of having a nameless LLC I just started mashing random consonants and vowel sounds together until eventually, I came up with something that didn't sound entirely terrible. Tanoko Tonic.

There's a short paragraph about myself on my profile too.

Sustainability & Single Use Plastics

My products are shipped as sustainably as humanly possible. I use cardboard boxes, paper tape, paper padding, and starch peanuts. However, because most of my products are high-value liquids, they will often be sealed by a piece of single-use plastic to guarantee their safe arrival. It's not perfect but I think it is the most realistic solution.

My product arrived damaged (or) I want a return

If your product arrived damaged, leaking, broken, etc. it is the fault of the shipping courier. Once the product leaves my hands, I have zero control over what happens to it! If you want to get angry at someone, please yell at the shipping carrier- not me!!

Once you are finished voicing your grievances to them, please message me here.

I'm sorry it is not really feasible for me to offer returns. If you don't like a product for some reason you can always re-gift it to someone and pretend you bought it for them!

To achieve the level of quality I wanted out of my products, I have to source the highest quality raw materials. They come from small farms everywhere around the world and were very difficult to find. You can find these raw materials available here, as I figured other people might also see the value these natural wonders have to offer, even if they aren't the cheapest option

Hi! I'm a naturalist that's obsessed with quality. I collect many things, I love art in any form, history, and anything vintage. I started making cosmetics in 2018, and now I use Etsy to share my creations. P.S. naturalism is NOT the same as naturism
