Sometimes, ya gotta go out and find the inspiration. Other times it is right there...in front of you. For 25 years, we ran a BnB in the northern mountains of Taos, NM. It was easy to make and sell my jewelry & bags for the gift shop in the breakfast room. I had a happy captive audience in a magical place.

Then, we changed our life. We sold the farm (so to speak) and bought a van and a sailboat. Two bucket-list check marks :)
For 3 years, we vagabonded in our van around the country and into the turquoise Bahamian waters on our 35ft sailboat. On these two vessels, it was difficult to keep the beads from rolling around, so my creativity was suspended.

But change happened with several personal turn of events and now we're dirt dwellers once again and the beads are colorfully blooming under turquoise skys. Without a privately owned gift shop, I have turned to Etsy as an outlet for my creative passion...and I'm very grateful.
