Greetings from Taos, New Mexico!

Thanks for stopping in to visit my Etsy shop. I am excited to be able to share my love of spinning, dyeing, and knitting with a wider audience than we were able to reach when our retail store was still open (we closed Taos Sunflower Yarns & Fibers in October 2008). Please take a look at our shop's policies, and if you have any additional questions, feel free to convo me!

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
No refunds or exchanges...so please ask lots of questions ahead of time.

We cannot be responsible for packages being lost in the postal system...sorry!
We are only accepting PayPal payments at this time.
I ship orders on Tuesdays and Fridays unless I contact you directly because of a change in this schedule.

All orders, domestic and international, will ship first class unless you request an upgrade to priority. Should you wish to upgrade to Priority mail, please convo me directly for the additional postage amount at the time you place your order. Once that charge is determined, we'll send you a PayPal invoice for the additional cost.

ALL CUSTOMERS: If you wish us to add postal insurance, at your expense, please let us know when you make your purchase and we'll contact you with the additional charge.

(Note: U.S. postal regulations stipulate that anything over 13 oz. MUST be shipped via Priority Mail.)

We use recycled shipping materials and envelopes whenever possible.

Also please remember that items shipped out of country via First Class postage are not traceable by us.
Additional policies and FAQs
All the fleeces we use in our shop are purchased from folks we know...who care for their farm animals in the most loving and conscientious ways possible. We love supporting our friends and cottage industries who make things with love, and hope this is reflected in our own products and work.

I use top quality professional grade acid dyes. All efforts are made to make sure you'll have no bleeding of colors, but depending on what washing process you use, some could still occur.

I use rain water for dyeing and washing...it's as good as it gets.

Vege matter is something I hope you never find in our products...but once in a while something teensy could slip through. I hope not! I don't want to mess with spinning fibers with VM, and imagine you don't either.

If you have any other questions about our products, please convo me and I'll get back to you soon as I can.
