    Hello, and welcome to tarabu!
I make a great variety of things, because I like to make things! The original Well-Versed Purse Collection and my one of a kind quilts tie with each other for most popular items at festivals. If you've seen a piece in real life that you don't see here - convo me - it may have been sold, or it may be waiting to be listed.

You can find out more about the general madness that is tarabu on my blog - www.tarabuarts.blogspot.com - home to works-in-progress, fun things to see and do, random art on the interwebz and my personal farm report.

The social fine print: for every infant quilt sold a blanket of comparable size (quilted or crocheted, always handmade) is donated to my local Project Linus; 10% of the sales price from all women's accessories, including all Well-Versed Purse items goes to Baltimore's House of Ruth women and children's shelter.

I also have a supplies shop under username 'tarabustash' - it seemed more appropriate than filling my handmade shop with supplies.

    Returns and exchanges
If the colours were very different on your monitor, or there was an error in posting size or other pertinent details, or you discovered that your in-laws have decided on purple instead of orange for your nieces room, or any of a variety of reasons, I will accept a return. The cost of the item will be credited for use on a future purchase from my shop, however the initial cost of shipping and any return costs you may incur will not be refunded (unless I made an egregious posting error related to size or materials).
    Payment
I accept paypal and postal money orders.
Maryland residents must add 6% sales tax (you may request a revised invoice, if you wish).
I require payment or contact within 72 hours of your purchase. Obviously, I don't expect to receive a money order in three days, but please convo me and let me know if that's the way you wish to pay for your order.

Custom orders require 30% down at the time of agreement and the balance on completion. I accept Paypal and postal money orders for these listings.
    Shipping
Items are shipped using recycled materials and the most cost effective shipping service available. When the shipping cost is between $5-$12 it will be for Priority Mail Service.
Insurance is optional - for fragile items that I worry about, you'll see a notation and insurance added to the shipping cost.
A Delivery Confirmation tracking number is included in all domestic postage.
I ship internationally, by general air mail. I will also ship UPS if you'd like to arrange for a tracking number - in this case please provide your exact location and wait for a revised invoice with the updated shipping cost.
    Additional policies and FAQs
I offer gift shipping to third-party addresses, however require that the buyer have a verified Paypal account or pay by postal money order for that service.

I accept custom orders for The Well-Versed Purse Collection and quilts. Please note that I am currently running a two-week turn-around for custom purses (additional time if special order fabric or out of print titles is required) and the time for quilts varies based on size and fabric availability.
