My boyfriend’s dog is getting older. He always tries to encourage friends and family that they HAVE to get a Berner and he shows them the photo this illustration is based on.
Josh was absolutely floored opening it up on Christmas morning. He’s admired Taylor’s talent for years, and he’s so incredibly happy to have a piece of her work hanging proudly in his home.
She was able to get the exact right texture of his fur, ever so curly on the ears, silky smooth down his chest. Taylor positively nailed his sweet puppy eyes and it’s truly been such a perfect investment piece.
Taylor’s art is consistently fantastic, so in tune with minute details, and it honestly just comes to life right off the page. In love! -

Maybe she's born with it
Art & Animals...Some things never change.
As a little girl I would spend endless hours quietly coloring and playing with my cats and dog, and now as an adult, I still find myself quietly drawing and petting my 4 cats, Toulouse, Sweet Pea, Gizzie and Ranger.
I've always had an affinity for drawing and animals, but it wasn't until 5 years ago that it all seemed to click and I realized my calling was combining my two loves and going into business as a Pet Portrait Artist. Specializing in colored pencil and oil paint, I use my keen eye for detail and love for all creatures furry, feathery and scaly alike, to create custom portraits ranging in size from 9x12 to 18x24. Every portrait is a challenge and an opportunity to grow my skills, but the cherry on top is being able to connect with fellow animal lovers and share in that special bond.
Whether you want to commission a portrait of your fur baby that recently passed, or surprise your spouse with a special Christmas gift, I'm an artist that understands your desires and will work with you to bring your pet to life on paper or canvas. I'm a naturally bubbly person and love making new friends, so shoot me a message and let's chat.
