Team Babe was born from a desire to make unusual inspirational prints that weren't sappy and didn't take themselves too seriously. We love wordplay, catchy phrases, and helping babes realize their full potential, whether they are femme-ing it up, stomping through mud puddles, or deciding to honour themselves in big and small ways.

Handmade is how I do things. Typically a design will start with a silly but awesome idea that will get handwritten over and over until I feel I've found the right shapes for the letters, then I'll tweak that a bunch and outline it with pencil. I'll cut that up and erase and redraw lines again and again until everything seems balanced. The pencil outline will get transferred to lino and I'll carefully carve the design, do some test prints, and return to the carving table to perfect the lines.
