★ technOchicDesign reveals the hidden beauty in discarded technology ★

For us at TechnOchicDesign, making jewellery from discarded technology is also a way of contributing to awareness around some of the human and environmental costs involved in making our electronic devices.

techn0chicDesign began in 2019 when multimedia artist Suzon was undertaking a major decluttering of her studio, and started opening up and stripping down her old technological devices. She became intrigued by the exquisite electronics hidden inside phones, hard drives and other obsolete hardware, and was inspired to use the components as artistic materials. Suzon then invited fellow artist Kati to collaborate with her and bring Kati’s unique, creative knowledge of sculpture and skill in assemblages to create jewellery.

Together, they create fascinating earrings, brooches, necklaces, bags, fridge magnets and more – offering imaginative original designs, whilst giving new life to old devices that have been ethically collected from local sources.
