As a small child, I was intrigued by anything tiny and little, the smaller, the better. My parents took us camping every summer and as soon as my 3 older brothers ran off to play with the other campground kids, I would gather the tiniest stones and sticks I could find and make a little Indian village...inspired by nature, even as a small child...

By the time High School rolled around, I had a wrap around, 3-story miniature doll house in my bedroom. While most kids were starting to date and go to all-night parties, there I was, re-arranging miniatures 'till the wee hours (guess my parents were happy about that).

Even in my "hippie" days at SUNY College at New Paltz (where I was in the 4-year-plus-more plan), I continued to love miniatures. I had a dorm full of students constantly giving me little beads and things for my collection. Mostly, if it could fit in my pocket, I was good to go. I began making beaded and terrarium jewelry and spent more time crafting than in my classes, which I actually don't regret at all!

Fast forward into the super-mega-size present, I have found my happy place in all things great and small. I am hopelessly addicted to making little things and firmly believe that good things come in small packages. I have since took the plunge to open my shop here, on Etsy, and have found a community of wonderfulness.

Thank you for taking the time to read About me. I take great care in creating all my pieces and am a one-person show because I'm too picky (but in a good way) to have anyone helping. :)
