Mi andadura con el metal comenzó en 2009 junto a mi hermana en nuestra primera tienda, MairzyDozy. Durante años, creamos juntas: ella con coronas y ramos de flores, y yo encontrando mi nicho en la resistencia de las horquillas para el cabello de gran calibre. Si bien nuestros caminos se separaron con el tiempo y emprendimos negocios individuales, mi pasión por la forja no hizo más que crecer.
En 2018, la vida me deparó una tormenta inesperada. Un incendio forestal arrasó mi pueblo, mi casa y el estudio donde volcaba mi alma en cada pieza. En 2020, me tomé un descanso para sanar y reflexionar. Ahora, en 2026, he regresado al yunque con una vocación renovada.
Guiada por la luz de la Luna Tempestuosa, creo piezas modernas que se convertirán en reliquias familiares para quienes transitan el Bosque Celestial. El nombre Tempest Moon nace de mi fascinación por las tormentas. Para mí, la luna en una noche oscura y turbulenta es un recordatorio: siempre hay luz que encontrar entre las nubes. My journey with metal began in 2009 alongside my sister in our first shop, MairzyDozy. For years, we created together—her with floral crowns and bouquets, and me finding my niche in the strength of heavy-gauge hair forks. While our paths eventually diverged into individual businesses, my passion for the forge only grew.
In 2018, life brought a different kind of storm. A wildfire claimed my town, my home, and the studio where I poured my heart into every piece. I stepped away in 2020 to heal and reflect. Now, in 2026, I have returned to the anvil with a renewed calling.
Guided by the light of a Tempest Moon, I create modern heirlooms for those who walk the Celestial Forest. My work blends dark, moody aesthetics with heavy-gauge copper to create intentional hair accessories, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and textile treasures.
The name Tempest Moon is born from my love of stormy weather. To me, the moon on a dark, turbulent night is a reminder: there is always light to be found through the clouds.
