I use mostly very soft and sweet fibers, but I do have a couple of "bouncy" wools that have great loft and spring and are great fun to work with and wear. I adore texture, so I incorporate it when it seems to cry out for something special and fun. I promise to tell you the truth
about the hand and drape of any scarf you're interested in.

Those who believe all wool is scratchy -- um, NO. Please see my merino and cashmere blends. If allergies are a concern, please check out the alpaca scarves. Alpaca fiber is very light and totally hypoallergenic. Beautiful, beautiful fiber.

I also offer gift certificates, if you can't choose a color for a loved one. ( I know it can be hard.) I can also make custom scarves with wool writing on a silk scarf (see example). Or you can send me a photo of a particular outfit you want me to match. Monitors show colors differently, of course, but I'm happy to work with you and make the perfect scarf for you.

Accepted payment methods

Paypal
  • Money Order
  • Check
Returns and exchanges
No refunds or exchanges, sorry. If the scarf doesn't suit you, please gift it away. I promise, someone you know will LOVE it.

And please understand that I can't help it if the PO goes wacky so I can't be responsible for items after they leave my hands. I will do all I can to get your scarf to you, except maybe biking to you myself! Depends on the weather, I guess. :-D
Payment
Paypal is best. It is how I usually pay for the fibers and dyes, so it's kinda perfect to keep the money there, you know? I can do money orders, too. I'd rather not take a personal check. A couple of bad apples have ruined it for the rest of us. :-}
Shipping
I will usually send things by First Class mail, if the scarf will fit in a sturdy envelope. Otherwise, I'll use Priority mail envelopes. I visit the PO 2 or 3 times a week. If you have a special occasion or "hurry up" situation, just let me know. Unless I'm out of town or in a coma, I'll make it happen!
