hello!
i'm inspired by organic qualities and colors in their raw form. imperfections highlight individuality. i like seeing the artist's process (sketch marks, imperfect glaze, slight imbalances); making each piece one of a kind. even if i try to replicate a piece it will come out different than the original.
i guess the most important thing to know is that i love every piece i make. if i don't love it, you don't see it. i believe objects carry energy imparted by their creator. i know that sounds silly, but i don't want to send anything out in the world that isn't honest. hopefully the pieces are treasured; something to be looked upon years from now and still be valued. that would be the best gift.
