Announcement
I love to paint girls, girls with expressive eyes. Girls with an attitude, with something to say. My hope is for my art to bring a smile, an inspiration or maybe a chuckle to the person looking at it. I would love to make a custom piece for you as an inspirational gift, whether for yourself or a loved one. Parents have often commissioned me to paint a custom piece for their daughters, to inspire them. That is so special and meaningful! That is why I paint. Happy browsing! Hopefully, my art will make you smile:)

5 out of 5 starsThis print is beautiful. It's perfect for giving as a gift. It was shipped shortly after I ordered it but it apparently got lost because I never received it. I contacted the seller and she was awesome. She sent out another one free of charge. She was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely order from this shop again.

5 out of 5 starsI love this print! It looks like an original. Have it on my table in a frame,-so I can see it all the time I'm sitting here. The words on it are perfect. Thanks Teresa:)

5 out of 5 starsMy step-daughter loved this gift. Thank you for sending it directly to her, she was so surprised and happy. She said this is what she needed to keep her motivated and to give her strength and a kick in the butt when needed. We both love it.. :)

Girls with Something to Say
Love of Faces, Eyes and Girls with Something to Say
I've always loved to draw, especially girls. But I never dared to put any color on my drawings for fear of "ruining" it. In the last few years, I began to fall in love with painting and realized that colors add so much more to my drawings. But I have never seen myself as an artist... just someone who enjoys drawing and painting. I stopped drawing for a long time and took it up a few years ago when I went through some tough periods in my life. It is cliché but true. Art saved me. It was my outlet. I joined art groups on Facebook because I did not know anyone else around me who loves to draw/paint like I do. The wonderful people on Facebook art groups have changed my life. Thanks to their encouragement, I began to embrace myself as an artist. And it is these wonderful people who encouraged me to open an etsy shop. I am not in this to make money. To me, art is my way of connecting with like minded people. All of my paintings feature girls with an attitude, girls with something to say. My hope for my work is to touch someone, bring a smile to someone, give hope or encourage someone. Since the opening of my shop, I have gotten requests from people to paint their daughters for them. I am so touched by that and so honored to do it for them. And it makes me especially happy when the recipient loves the work:) Thanks for reading this story and I hope my shop will bring you a smile:)
