tericlothtiedyeteri

Not your ordinary tie-dye and shibori.

Buyers are raving!

This shop got multiple 5-star reviews in the past 7 days.

Announcement    My listings are dyed by me (Teri) on our country acreage in the middle of beautiful Iowa. All my listings are ready to ship. I usually package it the day of the order (unless it's the middle of the night 🌙, then I'm sleeping) and mail the same or the following day to let USPS do their magic✨.

Now that 2020's restrictions are lifted, I'm starting to do art shows and farmer's 💐 markets again. I'll be dyeing things furiously to try and keep the shop well stocked. Pieces may sell during these shows - I'm planning to update inventory in real time, but that may not always be possible. If you love ❤️ it, buy it, it may not be back for awhile.

I'm unable to take specific special orders at this time but I can sometimes fit a suggestion/request into my planned production. Please feel free to message me with your questions.

About tericlothtiedyeteri

Sales 940
On Etsy since 2018

I create one of a kind, wearable art.

I started this business when I had 3 small children under the age of 5 in 1995. Twin girls and a son kept me pretty busy. I chose to stay home with them and started experimenting with tie dye. The first time I sold anything was when my husband and I were on a cross state bicycle ride. I had a few things in a Burley bike trailer we pulled and it just rolled on from there.

I try something new every year; new color combinations, designs, and techniques. The experimentation and learning never ends. I've come up with some truly unique combinations from these trials.

Until the spring of 2020, I sold my art at farmers' markets, art shows and other events. The pandemic shut those down.

I've had a few items on Etsy since 2018 but this year I was forced to focus on it exclusively. Because of that, I've worked very hard at teaching myself styling, photography, editing and creative writing to make my shop look polished and professional, while still offering a personal touch.

Take a look around and enjoy the view.

  • Teri Thompson

    Owner/sole Artist

Tericloth is a very small company. It's just me (Teri) designing and dyeing everything we sell. I'm also the photographer, model, web designer, printer, shipping coordinator, basically I do it all. Well, except the bills. That's my husband's job.

  • Bill Thompson

    Co-owner

My company couldn't run without the help of Bill. I'm the color girl, he's the numbers guy. Also, he can lift heavy things and he's excellent at parallel parking.

Frequently asked questions
Why is our policy no refunds or exchanges?

I want my customers to be happy 😃 with their purchase.

I provide multiple pictures of every side of a product. I edit each picture to represent the actual color of the product. I take measurements after the dyeing and drying process. Therefore any shrinkage has already happened. I take great care in describing each type of product.

I also give advice on how to measure yourself and which measurement is the most important.

If the only reason for a return is simply you don't like it and there is not a defect in the product up to a 20% processing may be charged.

If after reading all of the information you still have questions, I encourage you to contact me.

Sizing details

I spend a lot of time measuring each product after the dye process, which includes multiple hot washes and tumble drying. I don't just depend on the manufacture sizes. This ensures you receive the right fit.

So please don't just order your "usual" size as there is nothing consistent about sizing. Read and compare the measurements to your own. If you still have questions, convo me. Thanks for your time. 😃
