Photos don't do this beautiful piece of jewelry justice. I've been wearing it for about a week straight, and half the time I don't even know it's there. It's so light! I got mine in violet rather than the purple. I'm absolutely going to be purchasing from here again. Thank you so much, Joanne and Finn!

Autism, Inclusion and Our Vision

Finn was diagnosed with Autism when they were 16 - that diagnosis changed everything. Suddenly, everything clicked into place. Those struggles to fit in, with making and keeping friends, the stresses of social situations - all explained. Not just for Finn, but for our Finn's brother too. And later for me, their dad and other family members. We thought everyone felt the same way we did but were better at coping with it, or hiding it. It was a huge relief to realise there were reasons behind the way we felt and behaved. Now our days are spent being ourselves, not trying to be 'normal'. We are truly an Autistic Family!

Having an Etsy shop is absolutely perfect for us! No stressful telesales or face to face communication. Instead we let our products do the talking. That hypersensitivity and attention to detail that we have? Actually, it's a bonus in this setting as we make sure each and every ring is closed properly, snugly and feels good against the skin. Here, we can make our pretty things and sell to all you lovely people around the world.

What we offer has evolved as our business has grown - having been the odd one out more times than we can count, we understand the importance of finding somewhere inclusive. Have you ever experienced that sinking feeling, when you've spotted something that's beautiful and gorgeous that you'd just love to wear, before realising it didn't come in your size? Well, so have we (first thing that pops into my head is our ongoing battle to buy jeans in a petite leg length when the rest of us isn't quite so petite!). We have male friends who struggled to find the pretty things they wanted to wear, and trans girls and non-binary people who couldn't find anything in their size. Lots of people mentioned wanting collars that looked pretty, or could be discreet enough to wear out in public in front of people that may not understand their unconventional lifestyle. So, now our bracelets come in sizes 6-9.5", our necklaces and collars up to size 28" and we are always happy to customise further, where possible, allowing our customers to choose the colours, clasps and lengths that suit them and their loved ones.

Georgia plans to make and sell art once once college finishes later this year. In the meantime I'm mainly making chainmaille which I love, I'll say that again - I love making chainmaille! So many weaves, so tactile and so much fun to make.

I design and make all our chainmaille creations and I'm in charge of the day to day running of our shop. When I get a minute or two I like to knit, usually using mercerised cotton yarn as it feels silky and smooth and is sensory-friendly.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalised orders

We are happy to consider custom or personalised orders. Click on "Request Custom Order" to get the ball rolling.

Sizing details

Sizing details are included in each listing, including an inches to cm conversion chart (bottom of listing). We are happy to consider custom lengths; in between lengths (eg 16.5" etc) can usually be made without any extra cost, get in touch to discuss or leave a note during checkout. Lengths over 28" can be considered but will incur an extra cost - please get in touch to discuss beforehand.

If you find you ordered the wrong size, no problem, get in touch to discuss before returning it for adjustment. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.

Care instructions

Our chainmaille is easy care, can be worn 24/7, and needs just a quick rinse to get rid of any soap, beauty products, salt or chlorine before drying.

Whilst our padlocks will withstand a little water (like the odd shower) they will probably not like repeated dunkings (which goes for most locks, wherever you get them from). We recommend you buy one of our stainless steel ring clasps to wear in the pool/sea - it won't rust and you get two looks for your collar - it's a win-win, right?

Gift wrapping and packaging

Your order will be wrapped in tissue paper, then placed in an organza bag (colours may vary). It will be nestled securely within a padded envelope. Just in case, we include an a gift invoice (without prices), so we don't spoil any surprise

Information for those with Allergies

Our chains are made from anodized aluminium, stainless steel (both of which are hypo-allergenic) or high quality brass or jeweller's copper.

Our clasps are high quality and are made from stainless steel or are made of pewter that is plated with silver, gold or copper. All are lead and nickel free.

Our Ring Clasps are made from stainless steel 304 which is medical grade steel and considered hypo-allergenic.

However, our padlocks are not suitable for those with NICKEL allergies. For those buyers looking for collars, we suggest you look at our Ring Clasp or Discreet collars instead.

Our earring hooks and posts are all sterling silver.

Delivery Estimates

Once shipped, it should take around the following time to get to you:

UK - 1-2 days
Europe 3-5 days
USA and Canada 1-2 weeks
Everywhere Else 1-2 weeks

These times can be affected by bad weather, strikes and customs (to name just a few) and are out of our control. Please do not worry if you order takes a little longer to arrive.

Because of previous difficulties with your customs/delivery service we are only able to offer delivery by ParcelForce - their Global Priority service offers you, and us, a fully tracked service with a delivery aim from 5 days. However orders may still take significantly longer to arrive, please allow at least 6 weeks for delivery. Often it can take longer and this makes it very difficult to determine if your order has genuinely been lost or merely delayed. In the event you think your order is lost, please note NO replacement will be available and we will refund your money 4 months after the shipping date. If this is not acceptable please DO NOT order from us.
