These are wonderful. Beautifully executed, fun, and a great taste of Texas. Nan was terrific to work with-when I needed more than what she had listed, she quickly offered to post more items and even make anything I asked for custom. I am sure to buy more of her great work. Thanks!

About

Wisconsin City Girl Turns Texas Hill Country Artist!

When you marry a native Texan, there is fine print on the bottom of the marrige certificate that says, "I agree to move to Texas as soon as it is practical."

It was only a few years into our marriage when it became practical, but no one needed to twist my arm. My apologies to those of you who love cold and snow, but after thirty-some years, I had had enough! I wanted to worry about whether the air conditioner was working on the car, not the defroster!

So, many years ago, we came to Texas. I learned to love the HIll Country as I helped out on the family ranch near Fredericksburg. My responsiblities there have grown over the years as other responsibilities waned.

That also gave me time to try something I have always wanted to try: watercolor painting.
