5 out of 5 starsThese shorts rock!! I whipped some up last night on whim with some leftover quilting cotton (and an old shirt of my husband’s) I didn’t know what to do with. I’m really glad I made these shorts. They’re comfier than I expected. I’m wearing them all day today! Thanks for the super thorough instructions! 😊

5 out of 5 starsThis pattern was so easy to use. I went all out and made 3 pairs for myself! I love how they came out.

4 out of 5 starsNot the greatest instructions for the kids version, but I persevered. Kiddo loves her new shorts. I glanced through the women's instructions, and they seem more thorough, so I'm hoping to give that a go.

I'm an arts & crafty woman; a maker. A Jill of All Trades. Bright colors and bold patterns make my heart sing. My fabric collection is out of control and ever growing. I dream of my own brick and mortar store. Until then I sell the things I make here.
I love to cook and want an all year round farmer's market. I miss living at the beach. I collect seashells and skull & crossbones. Being a nerd is cool and I never stop learning. My parents raised me to never doubt that I can do anything I set my mind to. I hope to instill that lesson in my children. That, and to be good people and treat everyone fairly.
I juggle five times more things than my two hands can manage. I have the goal to be superwoman, know it is unrealistic, and still keep at it every day.
I live in Seattle with my husband, Danny, and our children, Jane and Jimmy, who are, hands down, the cutest, most amazing things I have ever seen. They are full of awesome.

"I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me, too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it’s true I’m here, and I’m just as strange as you. " -Frida Kahlo
