Wonderful necklace! Beautifully made and designed. Looks gorgeous on. It arrived here in Australia quickly and I could tell from the thoughtful and pretty wrapping how much style Peggy has.

Beautiful supersized and very beautiful turquoise & beige/gold swirled lamp work bead earings that are perfectly paired with brass bead caps & simple leaf-shaped ear wires! Great combo and fun to wear! Thank you, Peggy!!
Loving what you do... doing what you love
My jewelry has a definite aesthetic - a natural, earthy, and in many cases a rustic look and feel. I would choose a beautiful piece of jasper over diamonds any day!
Several years ago I began making intricate bead woven pieces, inspired by a book purchased from the old Tower bookstore. Fueled by a couple classes taken at our local beadstore, I turned out countless freeform peyote stitched bracelets, beaded bezel pendants and loom beaded amulet pouches.
Always an artistic and highly visual person, I’d studied art in school and had dabbled in several mediums: photography, ceramics, printmaking, life drawing, trompe l'oeil, graphic design etc. Making jewelry sounded fun, but as I proceeded, it quickly became a passion.
Over time, my jewelry has evolved into working with silver: sterling wire wrap and torch fused fine silver, with the occasional accent of copper or brass. I enjoy making all my own ear wires, and many of the clasps on the bracelets and necklaces. It’s that special handmade touch that makes the difference.
I also adhere to the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-sabi - the perfection of imperfection. My jewelry is not meant to look machine or factory made… there’s a real maker behind your earrings/ necklace/ bracelet.
There’s so much yet to learn and the passion has only increased with time!
Etsy has provided a platform for selling my work to people all over the world - a pretty awesome concept. I feel a real connection to my customers and hope they will love wearing my jewelry as much as I loved creating it for them!
