Additional policies and FAQs
This shop is our hobby and passion. We tell you as much as we can about our products and are honest. Keep in mind that these items are vintage items, meaning they are old. We tell you every flaw that we can see on the item, and repair the item as much as we can before we ship.

The vintage collector knows that there may be some wear and tear or defects. We do not sell items that are irrepairable or that have obvious defects. In other words, we do not sell items that we would not wear or use ourselves.

We try our best to ensure that the buyer knows how the garments fit.
We often compare sizes to ourself, based on American sizes, and if the item fits unusually, we tell you that. For instance, extra long or short etc.

Keep in mind that some of these items are tailor-made, meaning, that they were made to fit a particular person and there will NOT be any wiggle room. In that case, measurements, must be taken very carefully, so that the garment does not rip when put on etc.

Keep in mind that because these items are vintage, many of the fabrics do not have stretchy material in them, like lycra and they will tear if it is too tight.

When a model is used, we may share the models measurements or height so that the buyer has an idea as to the fit.

General guidelines for taking measurements:

BUST: Measure around the fullest part with bra on.
WAIST: Measure the smallest part
HIPS: Measure the fullest part (underwear and/or slip on)
SLEEVE LENGTH: This is measured from your underarm down (wrist or bicep)

If we find the sleeves a little small, we measure the circumference of the sleeves as some women are generally small with bigger arms.

It is best to compare measurements with items that fit well from your closet.
There is a good chart that can be found on wikepedia, if you are concerned about sizing.

We usually measure the items lying flat.
