I adore this bowl. Had my eye on it for some time and finally decided that 'the house' needed a Christmas present, too. :) The bowl wasn't as large as I imagined even though it is exactly the size the seller stated. Our brains can be funny like that sometimes! I am still so pleased with my purchase. It is beautiful, high quality art and I am already planning to order some more (albeit larger) bowls!

Love this bowl & love the concept of turning something old into something new. The dot painting is fabulous!

About

One dot at a time.

These beautiful wooden bowls are everywhere and people just get rid of them. I've always had a love for vintage finds and I figured out how to save a lot of them. I find the bowls and dishes in sad shape (dirty, scratched up, weird sticky spots) then bring them home and fix them up. They gain a new life with me and then I spread them back out into the world with new confidence.

I've been doing these dot painting since 2008 and I'm still happy painting. I thrive on detail and love to discover beautiful combinations of colors. I design each color pattern with a lot of thought and time. The bowls are so uniquely interesting and I must do them the service to match the colors to their vintage feel. I think it's working out mighty well indeed!!
